Joe Whitehead Award for 2010
Joe Whitehead Award for 2010 went to John Warrington of BC Ceiling Systems Ltd. and was presented by Steve Moore 2008 recipient. (see John below).
Award Background
The Joe Whitehead Award was established many years ago as a recognition award for the Wall & Ceiling industry in BC. Joe was the publisher of the Journal of Commerce beginning in the 1950's. He started The Trowel Magazine in August 1953, and it has been in continuous publication since that date. Joe loved our industry, and of any segment of construction, he thought the Wall & Ceiling industry to be the best. Joe Whitehead passed away in January of 2002.
The Joe Whitehead Memorial Award is given each year to the person whose character and commitment on behalf of the Association best exemplifies Joe's enthusiasm for this industry in British Columbia. John is an active Director on the Lower Mainland Wall and Ceiling Association Board.
